Message From Fr Grace
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY: To all our wonderful Mothers- a very happy Mother’s Day! “A mother is the most important person on earth. She cannot claim the honour of having built Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any Cathedral – a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of her baby’s body.” Cardinal Joseph Mindszenty.
Dear Parishioners, We hope and pray you continue to be in good spirits despite the pandemic restrictions. The Prime Minster announced there will be easing of restrictions that are being clarified over the weekend. We will notify you all when the changes are made clear and we are given directives from the Archbishop. We pray these changes will include a date for the reopening of our churches; please God it will be soon.
Congratulations to Fr Jomer who celebrated his 1st Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood last Thurs. 7th May. Please continue to pray for him and all our priests and more vocations
And finally, this week, Wed. 13th May, the Catholic Church celebrates 103 years since our Lady’s first apparition at Fatima. We encourage everyone to continue praying & saying the Rosary as Our Lady has implored us, as our sign of unity for peace, especially at this time.
May Almighty God Bless you and your families Fr Grace.
