11th Annual Symposium  - WHO’S CHOICE IS IT?

This years’ Symposium is a Q & A around the topic of Choice.  Come along to be part of the discussion about the myths and the truth.   ALL WELCOME.

The Adoration Chapel will continue to be livestreamed through  our Facebook page ‘Sacred Heart Griffith Perpetual Adoration’.  It will be reviewed at next week’s meeting.

BLESSING OF HOMES: The period between Easter and Pente­ cost is traditionally the time to have your homes blessed. Pleasetake a yellow sheet in the foyer, if you would like to have your house blessed & return it to the office or place in either collection bag during Mass

The month of May is the "month which the piety of the faithful has especially dedicated to Our Blessed Lady," and it is the occasion for a "moving tribute of faith and love which Catholics in every part of the world [pay] to the Queen of Heaven. Jesus gave his mother to us (see John 19:26-27), and it brings him great joy when we honor her.
 
How can we bring Mary into our families?
 
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS:
1  Place a statue of Mary in your home, specifically in your bedroom.
2. Pray the Rosary together.
3. Have images of Mary hanging on your walls, especially in your bedroom.
4. Create a Marian garden in your yard. (this you tube clip shows a young couple/family creating a garden for Mary https://youtu.be/b-uajz2ti-A
5. Celebrate Marian feast days.
6. Read 33 Days to Morning Glory or research a Total Consecra­ tion to Mary online, and prepare for a Marian consecration together.
7. Place flowers in front of a statue of the Blessed Mother, in the church or in front of the grotto together and pray a Hail Mary for your marriage I family.
 
Other practices for everyone, which are recommended by the Magisterium are offered as suggestions for honoring Our Lady during Her month.

7. A Novena dedicated to Our Lady.
 
(Please take a Noveno to Our Lady Help of Christians I5th-24th May (blue card) at the back of the church for this time  for a speedy end to the world unrest and also a Holy Card that includes a Consecration to Our Lady. .....................................................................................................
